3 EASY TIPS FOR CLICKABLE PINTEREST IMAGES

You’re creating content on Pinterest for your business but you’re not seeing traffic back to your website. The problem could be your images.

Before you go back to the design drawing board, check out the three best practices below to make sure you’re hitting the creative mark when it comes to making pins for your content.

USE A DIFFERENT IMAGE FOR EVERY PIN

Even if the content and URL are the same, use a different image. If you have your own beautiful images, those are best, but stock photos are also good. Just keep them interesting so there’s less of a chance the same image will be used by someone else on the platform. Free photography sites like Canva and Unsplash are great resources, as are curated stock photography subscriptions like Stocklane and Color Joy Stock.

KEEP YOUR IMAGES ON BRAND

When you’re marketing your business on Pinterest, you're not just selling a product or service. You are selling an experience. Think about how you want your audience to connect with your brand, and make sure you are incorporating that feeling into the images you use to create pins.

ADD TEXT TO TELL THE STORY

A picture tells a thousand words...but let’s go ahead and help it out for good measure. Take your audience along on the journey of your brand by adding some text to your pin image. A captivating title, short description that shares what they’ll find once they click on the pin, and your logo/website address should all be included to tell the complete story on every pin.
